We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Overlay Sales Director with an expertise in data and analytics sales, specifically within the e-commerce and retail verticals, to drive the growth of Bright Insights across retailers, marketplaces, and brands throughout APAC.
This is a hands-on role focused on expanding our presence and our impact in these key verticals.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end direct sales of Bright Insights into retailers, marketplaces and brands. The work would be BOTH leading sales on your own, and also joining Bright Data’s in-region sales team to bring the product/domain expertise to help close new business.
- Develop your pipe, from lead generation to closing deals - you must be a hunter!
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of your customers and prospects — their business, use cases, needs, objectives, projects, and budgets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to successfully and promptly deliver on customer requirements.
- Work with Marketing to optimize strategy for customer acquisition.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience , with a strong focus on data / retail and ideally also the APAC region.
- Proven success in managing and executing both remote and F2F sales cycles of $50-$500K+ in value.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
